Fowl Adenovirus Infection – Potential Cause of a Suppressed Humoral Immune Response of Broilers to Newcastle Disease Vaccination

چکیده
Abstract Fowl adenovirus infections have a significant economic impact, especially in the production of broilers. It is considered leading cause three syndromes: adenoviral gizzard erosions and ulcerations, inclusion body hepatitis, hepatitis-hydropericardium syndrome. A critical feature this virus its immunosuppressive effect, via suppressing humoral cellular immunity. In study, we examined immune response after administration Newcastle disease vaccine broiler flocks with previously confirmed seroconversion against adenovirus. The study was conducted on 5 farms. total 220 chickens, five weeks age, showing no clinical signs disease, were included study. control group consisted 20 chickens from negative farm. Chickens vaccinated commercially available live NDV vaccines between 11 13 days life. ELISA determined presence specific antibodies FAdV 130/200 (65%) blood sera. Depending farm, seroprevalence ranged 30-100%. vaccination using hemagglutination inhibition assay. positive (HI) titer (≥ 16) found 41/200 (20.5%) sera, which significantly less compared to where HI 20/20 (100%) results our indicate effect subclinically infected birds highlight need for diagnosis, prevention, control.

Interpretation of Serologic Test Results and Evaluation of Humoral Immune Response After Vaccination Following Infection with COVID-19 Disease
SARS-CoV-2 virus infection induces a cellular and humoral mediated immune response and produces antibodies against viral antigens such as nucleocapsid (N) protein and spike (S) protein. Anti-protein S antibodies also target the spike protein subunit S1 and the receptor binding domain (RBD). Serologic tests can detect the presence of these antibodies in blood serum within a few days to a few wee...

Humoral Immune Response Induced by PLGA Micro Particle Coupled Newcastle Disease Virus Vaccine in Chickens
This experiment was conducted for evaluating the humoral immune responses induced by Poly Lactide-co-Glycolide Acid (PLGA) microspheres coupled inactivated Newcastle Disease Virus (NDV) vaccine in comparison to an ‘in-house’ prepared inactivated and a live commercial vaccine. PLG microparticles containing inactivated NDV were prepared by a double emulsion technique based on solvent evaporation ...

Un-methylated cytosine-phosphate-guanosine oligodeoxynucleotides (CpG-ODN) has been considered as a powerful vaccine adjuvant and recognition of CpG-ODN by chicken leukocytes promotes their ability to fight against infections. In our study, efficacy of different routes of CpG-ODN application as an adjuvant on immune responses (antibody titer together with leukogram) following vaccination agains...
